Cushman & Wakefield has announced the ranking of the most expensive streets in the world and in Europe related to the world of fashion. Luxury streets where global brands try to do everything to be present.
The ranking analyses the costs that are included in the rent that is requested and paid by companies renting.
In 2024, the most expensive street is listed for the first time in Italy, in the city of Milan in Via Montenapoleone. Here, shop rents reach an average of 20,000 euros per square meter per year (+11% on an annual basis).
Compared to the previous year, cost increases affected all the streets examined by Cushman & Wakefield with a significant growth in their rents in an average increase of +4.4%.
In Milan, Via Monte Napoleone is followed by New York’s 5th Avenue, London’s New Bond Street, Hong Kong’s Tsim Sha Tsui and Paris’ Champs-Élysées.
